Daniel B. Levin’s work spans documentaries, narratives, and commercials, where his roles include director, producer and cinematographer. Levin produced and directed his latest project “Kevin Garnett: Anything Is Possible,” the feature documentary on groundbreaking NBA superstar, Kevin Garnett, which premiered at Doc NYC, 2021 and is currently on Showtime. Levin executive produced and was the cinematographer on the feature documentary, “I Promise”, alongside executive producer LeBron James. The film premiered at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival and is available worldwide on YouTube Originals.

Levin’s television and film experience has crossed over into the commercial realm, where he has directed and shot successful branded campaigns worldwide for brands including Google, Nike, Heineken, Visa, Coach, Smart Car and Supreme. 

Levin’s work includes serving as the Director of Photography on the documentary series, “Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story” (Paramount), Executive Produced by Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter, as well as “Inside the FBI: New York” (USA ), Executive Produced by Dick Wolf. Levin has photographed and produced award winning films and series including “Brick City” (Peabody Award Winner, Sundance Channel), “Chicagoland” (Sundance, CNN), “Love Child” (Sundance, HBO) and “Class Divide” (Doc NYC Audience Award Winner, HBO).  

Levin’s directorial debut, the 2008 documentary, “CAPTURED”, screened worldwide to critical acclaim and became an instant New York cult classic. Levin is a product of New York City and a third generation filmmaker who has worked with his father, veteran filmmaker Marc Levin at Blowback Productions and Brick City TV since graduating from Emerson College in 2005.
